Much more intense and suspenseful than the episodes before, more mature themes maybe because the it concentrates on Gaius and his past as well as dificult moral choices he has to take. The episode reveals an interesting backstory for Gaius and adds some more depth to his character. The protagonists are not as black-and-white as it was the case before. The character of Edwin is ambiguous as he turns to evil and revenge as a result of questionable actions of characters depicted as positive ones.
