Christmas comedy entertainment special hosted by stand-up comedian Michael McIntyre, featuring celebrity guests, audience games and live music. Michael embraces as many eclectic Christmas rituals as possible - serving up the ultimate treat to cap off Christmas Day around the UK. From tree decorating, present opening, cracker jokes and leftover sandwich making - he covers it all, helped by some incredible celebrity guests and an audience packed full of festive characters. Jamie Oliver cooks up a storm in the kitchen, showing us how to make the ultimate Christmas leftovers sandwich. Mrs Brown drops in to share her unique take on the big day. Robbie Williams surprises some unsuspecting Christmas shoppers with an unforgettable performance. Comedian Rob Brydon and national treasure Barbara Windsor provide even more glamour and comedy, while best-selling jazz musician Jamie Cullum gathers everyone around the piano for an old-fashioned singsong to end the show. It doesn't get more Christmassy than Michael McIntyre's Very Christmassy Christmas Show.

In this Christmas Day special, Michael presents leading comedians including Dara O Briain, the fabulous Dame Edna Everage, and ventriloquist and winner of America's Got Talent Paul Zerdin. Featuring music superstars Ellie Goulding and Tom Jones plus Michael's own inimitable style of comedy, the show promises a night packed with festive treats and surprises.

The first show of the series is recorded live at the Edinburgh Playhouse. This historic city plays host to Michael McIntyre, with the fantastic Rhod Gilbert headlining and cutting-edge stand-up from Kevin Bridges, Stewart Francis and Mark Watson.

In this episode, Michael takes his Comedy Roadshow to the Manchester Apollo, where he is joined by north-west favourite Jason Manford, plus John Bishop, Sarah Millican and Mick Ferry.

Michael McIntyre is at Birmingham's Hippodrome, where he introduces Tom Stade, Steve Hughes, Paul Tonkinson and headline act Shappi Khorsandi.

Michael McIntyre visits Swansea's Grand Theatre, where he's joined by Sean Lock, Steve Williams and Ava Vidal.

Michael McIntyre is joined at the Belfast Waterfront Hall by Neil Delamere, Jeff Green and Kerry Godliman, before local hero Patrick Kielty headlines.

Michael McIntyre heads to the Brighton Dome where he introduces Micky Flanagan, Jo Caulfield and Jon Richardson, headlining is the one and only pub landlord Al Murray.

Kevin Bridges headlines at the Glasgow Theatre Royal, with stand-up performances from Daniel Sloss, Milton Jones and Craig Campbell.

Michael McIntyre takes his comedy roadshow to the Sunderland Empire Theatre, where he introduces Simon Evans, Jimeoin and Imran Yusuf. Topping the bill is north-east England's Sarah Millican.

Michael McIntyre takes his comedy roadshow to The Grand Theatre in Blackpool, where he introduces Justin Moorhouse, Terry Alderton and Miles Jupp. Liverpudlian comic John Bishop closes the show.

Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow heads across the sea to the Olympia Theatre in Dublin, where Michael introduces Andrew Lawrence, Keith Farnan and Zoe Lyons, plus Irish favourite Tommy Tiernan.

The roadshow heads to the Bristol Hippodrome, where Michael is joined by Seann Walsh, Mike Gunn and Hal Cruttenden, with Mighty Boosh star Noel Fielding headlining the show.

The series concludes with a trip to the Leeds Grand Theatre, where Michael introduces sets from Jack Whitehall, Andi Osho and Sean Collins. The ever-popular Ardal O'Hanlon closes the show.
