Rushed, very obvious! But... "Motherland: World Beyond" when?
There was definitely some rushed skimming and skipping across the story elements of this episode (and the one previous), and I sooo wish we could have seen all of those story-bits that simply didn't fit into the time remaining, but I still liked what we got, the wrap-up of the storyline and the resolution for all (well, okay, most) of our good-witch characters.
At the same time, I really do hope that show-creator Eliot Laurence someday goes back and writes the original book series he had in mind to begin with. I'd love to experience and digest the full detailed story as originally intended.
I like the way all was assembled however 42 minutes were not enough time to clear everything…there was no time to give Anacostia a proper memorial and her death was truly cold, Hearst death was too kind and we didn’t knew what happened with his sister …I think they told too much story in the previous 9 episodes and the final episode was totally rushed, but the essence of the clousure was beautiful…I am going to miss this show it was one of my favorites

Very satisfying emotionally. I know this is completely subjective: I was one raw nerve throughout most of this episode, crying tears of joy alternating with tears of sadness, and moments of laughter (and probably looked spasmodic, with either an O-face, or like I was at a wake).... So, of course, YMMV :laughing:

I really think this finale was rushed and whilst thing's worked out, I was a little disappointed with this final episode. :thinking:
Ya know when you've had a beautiful gift you've been meaning to give someone, but you've had it for a long time and it has lots of delicate little pieces that require proper assembly, but time got away from you and now you've got to rush to put it together, then wrap it up for delivery, but you rush assemble so some screws are missing and a few integral bits get lost in a corner somewhere... and the wrapping, oh my, the wrapping looks like shit...

Ok, sure, perfection does not exist, life can be cruel and unfair... everything comes to an end, blah blah blah... and there were some good scenes in this finale, and I'm grateful the show existed at all and... * sigh * but this... because plot points and proper closure and... SPOILER - a truck?! Knowing how her parents died... Why would they do it like THAT?! For what reason?!
Look, I'll be bitter for a while.
Second time around because I'm a glutton for punishment (not doing it a third time, that would be truly masochistic), and I'm even angrier at how they dismissed Anacostia. Sure, the finale was a giant mess, but I'm especially heartbroken about Ana. The way they killed her was unforgiveably cruel.
Someone suggested a sequel series, and I'm all for it. We can hope for a fixer.
Wow, this finale was just terrible. Rushed, with overall awful pacing and writing.
Absolutely abysmal and a betrayal of what it once made a good show.

Super rushed but we make do. I don't know why but I reallllly don't like the Tally romance with that dude (and it's not just coz I'm low key shipping Talder this season, honest). It was just so left field and suddenly she's all over him. Like eff off dude you've not earned a place in the gang.
So they pulled a Buffy but rather than awakening all potential slayers they made everyone a witch. Big move but I kinda like that they didn't show an epilogue or what it could mean. Opening endings are spot on when done like that.
A shame they couldn't play all this out properly but still a decent job compared to other shows that rushed the ending (coughGOTcough).
