I’m sorry, but after seeing N&A XL where some of the survivalists had to cope with nightly visits by leopards, hyaenas or lions, a few coyotes just isn’t going to fill me with terror.
Especially if you’re from Canada where bears and wolves abound - not to mention coyotes...
It would be the heat and sandstorms that would freak me out about this place.
This episode proves why the majority of these N&A challenges are placed in jungles or tropical islands.
Being cold when it rains, or in the dead of night is one thing: Being naked in the snow makes this challenge a whole different ballgame.

Putting a lion-attack survivor into a location where they live was a no-brainer from the producers’ point of view.
Unfortunately it meant she couldn’t stop obsessing about the predators so every night got a bit repetitive.
Also, putting a chip-on-her-shoulder woman in with a patronising, military alpha male was an obvious choice.
You could spot a mile off that she’d get the hump with Rod’s tone of voice.
