Alana, the 2013 hack of Yahoo accounts, which first came to light in 2016, was at that point thought to affect a BILLION accounts! Turns out that was an UNDERESTIMATE! In the process of acquiring Yahoo, Verizon discovered that ALL Yahoo user accounts were affected... which brings the total closer to THREE BILLION! Long story short: if your password's “1234”, time to add a 5 or maybe even a 6!
