This has a few moments that I like, primarily the odd visitation from the red-eyed spirit or whatever it is at the end of the story. It took me by surprise with its strangeness. Other than that, this is a comedic episode for the most part, which happens to be much more effective than Jack Laird's lame vignettes.

"The Tune In Dan's Café" is a perfect example of what I think is great direction. It's such a dark and moody piece. The slow-motion effects and the lighting are fantastic. In fact, the direction makes this average story almost an excellent episode.

The jukebox and the country tune it plays is scary. I especially like when it starts playing a song, then seems to realize its mistake and immediately discards it and starts playing the haunting country tune again. The ending is not the best but one additional highlight is the character named "Red", who is an aptly named scorcher played by Brooke Mills.

Elsa Lanchester is sweet as the old lady who turns terrifying in the episode's final scene. Cameron Mitchell is a total scumbag and the fact that he pretty much loses his mind is a fine final outcome.
