Straight-up fiction in waving a little wand with an LED on the tip to "read" a hard drive with the cover taken off.
Charlie: *points* "JPEG."
Tech: "Seems to be a digital photograph."
Me: NO SHIT?
Charlie: [Technobabble about enhancing the photograph using some algorithm]
Me: OK just stop.
1am and you can see sunlight outside the windows of the house… lol.
Truth is, I started noting down the absurd bits of the episode, and then shit got real. The technical flaws don't matter. This is a good one.
