i love how Dadan went all Mama Dadan on Garp bc of Ace dying and what it’s done to Luffy. she loves Ace and Luffy even if she tried to not show it.
The way Luffy's memories of his friends prevented his sorrow from smothering him really got to me. The way they depicted his breakthrough was very moving.
