Still love this show. It's more clear than ever that its Breaking Bad inspired but on this show the action comes at a more consistent pace, and its also a bit less grounded in reality. Not really a complaint though, BB is going to inspire a hundred shows and this will likely be one of the best ones of that class. One complaint is the writing in this season did seem to take a bit of a dip from season 1. Also, the violence went from legit frightening to a little hokey. The plot was spicier than season 1 but the writing wasn't as good nor was the finale.
This season was just... bad.
I mean, True Detective S02 kinds of bad.
If it weren't for Season 03's great reviews, I wouldn't have finished watching this one.

Sadly, my personal opinion is that too; this season didn’t work for me. The plot went all over the place.
a show about laundering money, where they don't launder any money.
The show has good bones, but the brutal slayings are becoming tiresome.
