A series that surprised me quite a bit. Generally, I haven’t liked live-action adaptations of anime; however, this one doesn’t adapt the original story. Instead, it exists in the same universe as a kind of spin-off. And in my opinion, this decision was spot-on. Being an original story, it was accessible to everyone (whether or not we had seen the anime).
This season had a bit of everything: good action sequences (including fights with parasites), mystery, intrigue, and a solid villain. Despite all this, I feel they missed the opportunity to inject more suspense and terror, which I might have liked to see in a story of this style. :tv::performing_arts:
Hmmm, it's not bad and it's not so perfect, but at least it keeps making you want to know what's gonna happen next, i watched the anime months ago and liked it too, tho i wished that they took more details from it, overall good and probably there will be season 2
This is a spin off; Not an adaptation or a remake. It just exist in the Parasyte universe. The story was interesting and the special effects were very well made. I think if you like the premise, and you're not a very fussy man-baby, you should give it a chance.
