As Bajirao performs the last rites of his father, Balaji Vishwanath, the words of his father echo in his mind. After the funeral pyre is lit, Bajirao takes an oath to stand by the principles of his father and fulfil his dying wish. Meanwhile, Mastani decides to see her future husband before she ties the knot with him. Then, Bajirao takes blessing from Radhabai before he becomes the Peshwa.
