So that's the famous wet Mr Dancy moment. I don't see what the fuss is all about.

Disappointed to see this adaptation show everyone's point of view, when the novel only shows Elizabeth's, and we're not supposed to know what has happened until Elizabeth knows. She doesn't know that Darcy has been helping Lydia, so neither should the audience. It completely changes the dramatic structure for the worse.
I wish they had spared showing us the intimacies of a man's relationship with a 16 year old girl. Feels like they're making fun of her for "getting what she deserves" for being annoying, instead of sympathising with her for being taken advantage of by a predator.

I like the ridiculousness of Mrs. Bennett's portrayal by Allison Steadman, but I wish she bought into her own delusions, instead of overacting for the sake of overacting. :/
