Forced to live with their parents, Jessica, Rob, and their fiercely independent 5-year old daughter, Coco, are desperate to buy a new house. The Property Brothers come to the rescue and help her find a budget-friendly dream home that can be renovated on time. With a budget that doesn't match their expectations, Drew and Jonathan struggle to sell the potential of a fixer-upper. The couple finally decides between two huge renovation projects, but Jonathan has to complete the job in just over five weeks. Constant snags turn the project into a full-on sprint from the start. The bathroom sub-floor is completely rotted and Jonathan fears structural delays will kill the budget. A sneaky HVAC system stands in the way of his bedroom design, and issues with the kitchen floor threaten the timeline. The couple gets seriously agitated but Rob still makes an eleventh hour demand to upgrade all the kitchen appliances. Jonathan laces up and madly dashes to complete the job on time and on budget.
