Rachel reveals what the Christmas season means to her, showcasing some of her favourite recipes in a guide to stress free festive food. As well as rustling up delights such as smoked salmon fishcakes, pan fried duck with redcurrant jelly sauce or an indulgent chocolate mascarpone mousse. Rachel also takes viewers to her favourite local smokery and her fiercely foodie friends try out one of her recipes.

Surprising and exotic flavours combine in Rachel’s easy Middle Eastern feast. Chicken and cous cous tagine, chickpea and aubergine salad and yoghurt and apricot pots conjure up the mystery of the souk or riad, while Rachel cooks al fresco with a couple of biker mates and finds out how local goats yoghurt is made.
