To bad it took the pace out of the last episodes
but trip in the time machine was okay.
The Edmund and the Dolly storyline was lame
Absolutely the weakest episode so far. Even though we got to know Mildred and Edmund's disturbing background in a very theatrical and AHS-like way, it feels like something was off. Not to say the worst thing about the episode, which is Edmund and Dolly's dumb boredom. What makes you keep wanting to watch the show is knowing how great were the 5 episodes that preceed it.

Using a puppet show to tell Mildred’s and Edmund’s story was a really good choice. It also explains Mildred’s disgust at sexual acts that’s been shown throughout the whole show so far and their connection is finally explained. I really liked it.
Well latest now, I hope they all turn it so that the governor gets to burn. Or worse.
While I think the critics were too harsh, I must admit it's grown maudlin. Practically feels like a Marc Cherry show at this point.
I want more hospital stuff, less lesbian romance and Edmund stuff.

Well...this episode was just dumb. After watching 5 hours of solid storyline (all things considered), this hour was just...dumb. (and yes, I'm aware I used that word twice but I just can't come up with a better explanation). The Dolly/Edmund storyline was completely unremarkable. Even worse than the one with Bucket. I'm really hoping this was a one off episode...
