The whole Taralić family works in the village of Planinica, on a spacious field illuminated by the sun. Suddenly, Grandpa Obrad noticed a silhouette of a man rising above the field, towards the edge of the hill. A man in a military uniform comes from the depths, pushes a bicycle next to him, and a military carbine hangs on his governor. Somewhere in Slavonia, in the early April morning of 1941, the disorganized companies of the 41st Infantry Regiment of the Royal Army were retreating. With bad news and an even worse situation at the front, the army is falling apart more and more. However, the few, led by military honor and patriotism, still understand that they must start a decisive fight against the occupiers. A new plan for the defense of the homeland is being forged.

On a warm April night in Belgrade, curfew reigns. Krcun, in an apartment in Kalenegdan, instructs young people from Skopje on the orders of the Party. In an old muddy factory circle, a crowd of prisoners of war is crowded. German soldiers push bewildered people into wire pens. With a group of prisoners, the Germans throw out the newcomers from the truck, shouting and shouting. Lieutenant Colonel Rudolf Ukmar gets out of the trailer.
In the early morning, on a hill above the river, staring at the Drina, stand Colonel Mihailović and his comrades. The time has come to move to Serbia. Suddenly, from the bottom of the column towards the forest, unknown voices were heard. A group of uniformed and armed people are walking towards them with big steps, boldly and strongly.
In the late afternoon of May, a German patrol enters Taralić's yard. Stanoj Taralić is loaded into a truck full of men. Zivana runs helplessly after her husband, while Vukadin and Zarko, hidden, watch the unpleasant scene. Will they manage to resist the urge and go unnoticed. There is a lot of light on the platforms of the Zemun railway station. Krcun is standing in the crowd. Next to him is Davorjanka Paunović, and with her is Veselinka Malinska. They are welcoming a guest, who is getting out of the car of the newly arrived train composition Zagreb-Belgrade. With a light step, as if waiting to be noticed, a man in his fifties in an elegant suit - Josip Broz Tito - steps on the platform.
Night and fog. As a tired column of horses, laden mules, and men passed through the clearing, a loud thunderclap could be heard in the distance, and then, suddenly, machine-gun fire. Draža's soldiers took cover, not knowing where they came from or who was attacking them.
In the last tenth episode of "Ravna gora", whose plot takes place in the middle of May 1941, we find Stanoje Taralić in the German prison in Ljig. And while the firing squad is mowing down two convicts in front of his eyes, the gendarmerie captain enters the prison cell and, holding the list in his hands, reads his name.
