Honestly overall this was a pretty solid season. Nothing special about it but nothing overly bad about it either. It had some extremely solid episodes and some weaker episodes but all of them were enjoyable in their own right.
I think my main issue with this season was that it felt very samey. It didn't feel like the season added anything new to the show? Maybe Rick & Morty has passed its prime and is starting to slowly die - hopefully that isn't true. Unfortunately due to how samey the season was I found myself laughing a little less than usual or zoning out, I'm not saying I didn't laugh though because trust me, I definitely did.
Looking back on the season I'd say the episodes that stood out the most for myself were: Episode 3: One Crew's Over the Crewcoo's Morty. Episode 6: Never Ricking Morty & Episode 9: Childrick of Mort. The rest of the episodes were decent but they didn't stand out as much as the 3 I listed did. Each one of these episodes kept me laughing & Interested throughout the entire episode, the Train Episode (Episode 6) has got to be one of my favourite episodes of Rick & Morty to date! I actually searched up the train to see if it was real and if I could purchase it myself... CONSUME... CONSUME...
I genuinely can't wait for Season 5, I can't see it being a bad season at all. I'm really excited to see what adventures they'll create for the duo (and hopefully the family too), fingers crossed the wait isn't too long!
