The Ride Guide kicks off the season from Canmore, Alberta, from the Canmore Nordic Centre, site of the 1988 Calgary Olympic Winter Games. The Ride Guide previews the 1998 Grundig UCI World Cup Course in Canmore, and profiles Schwinn's Pro Rider, Bill Hurley.

The Ride Guide takes a "Road Trip" this week to Vail, Colorado and features Australian Pro Rider; Cadel Evans. SRAM's ESP System is the focus of this weeks "Shop Talk", and Bruce Spicer talks about climbing in "Ride Like A Pro".

The gateway to the Canadian Rockies, Calgary, Alberta is the featured region on this week’s Ride Guide. Radical riding in Bragg Creek, Cops on Bikes, and Rocky Mountain Bicycles' pro rider, Ken Bilous, and the Element Race full suspension bike, are all included into another action packed Ride Guide.

The Ride Guide test rides one of Canada's wildest downhill courses, the Rocky Mountain House Downhill. This high speed, gnarly, 14 minute downhill is worth watching. This episode takes us from the Sun Peaks resort where we check out the trails in this up and coming destination, and while there we also take a ride in and around Kamloops BC, you'd be surprised what we found! We get a bit more of an international flavor with a feature on Annabella Stropparo, an Italian mountain bike rider. And finally we take in the Bike Calgary Festival.

Quebec city and Mont Sainte Anne are the focus for this show, we first get to know this beautiful city as couple of the locals show us the stairs jumps, drops and other features that combine old architecture and trials riding. The Urban Delirium really brings the old and the new together in an event where you have inverted riders and medieval looking architecture in the background (a bit surreal). We finish off with the 2004 Velirium festival, a world class biking event in Mont Sainte Anne, Quebec.

This transcontinental episode sees us at the Canadian National Mountain bike championships in Mont Sainte Anne where we follow the ups and downs of this most important comp. We check in with the Sugoi Dirt Series coaches in Whistler BC and he hop around with Ryan Leech on of the best trials riders in the world.

Ride Guide explores its home province of Alberta for this episode. Although Alberta is known as a cross country rider's haven, the freeride scene is alive and well. Ride Guide heads to Lethbridge to hook up with a local crew to explore the river bank freeriding that is booming in that part of the Province. We feature the TransRockies Challenge, the toughest mountain bike race in the world, check out the Canmore scene at the base of the Rocky Mountains and back into Calgary to COP and Home Food trails.

Mike Jones and Ride Guide heads into the lush BC Interior to Silverton Resort and check out the old mining town of New Denver, BC. We head up to Edmonton, Alberta and profile Norco Factory Team Rider and Canada Cup Champion Roddi Lega and then head out east for the Paris to Ancaster enduro.

Ride Guide heads over the Atlantic to feature Les Gets, France and to cover the Kona World Launch which is the epitome of all launches where not only do you learn about some of the best bikes in the world but also the fine wine and food that France has to offer. We get behind the scenes and travel with the Kona Clump team as they travel through Europe and meet up with Big D and Alex Fostvedt from Freeride Entertainment and see how it all began.

Ride Guide continues its travels in Europe and travels to Saalbach, Austria for the Marzocchi Euro Sessions where Marzocchi previews its 2006 line up of forks and suspension. We profile German rider Timo Pritzel in his hometown of Berlin, Germany and then head back to Saalbach and meet up with Ryan Leech of the Norco Factory Team. We then head under the lights for the Goabstaal Dirt Jump Jam and see who wins the goat this year and finish off with one of the most progressive freeride events in Europe, the Adidas Slopestyle.

Ride Guide heads back to France to the Freeride Festival in Les Deux Alpes, one of the biggest mountain bike festivals in Europe where all the top pros seem to appear. We travel back to Berlin, Germany and meet up with Timo Pritzel and get the tour of this historic city, explore some of Timo's favorite riding spots and see where he jumped the Berlin Wall. We then feature Mellow Park in the heart of Berlin for some Park and Dirt Jump action with Timo and friends.

Ride Guide heads to London, England to end it's month long European tour and hooks up with some locals for a London street session. We go to the MBUK Magazine offices and see how these guys make one of the best bike mags out there. Finally we head out of London to Bath and South Wales and see the emergence of North Shore style trails in the UK countryside.

Ride Guide is in Golden, BC for Red Bull Psychosis for one of the longest and gnarliest downhill races in mountain biking where the top finishers are coming in at just under 15 minutes after riding down over 4,000 vertical feet. We then meet up with Aaron Chase to discuss his latest movie "Counterparts" and see what it's like to make a movie from a true professional rider's perspective. Lastly, we end up in Whistler, BC to check out one of their new trails off there Garbanzo expansion "Freight Train" and finish off with the spectacle that is Crankworx where Paul Basagotia is back to defend his title that he won out of nowhere the year before.

Ride Guide travels to Nelson, BC and heads to Baldface Lodge with Mike Kinrade and the Norco Factory Team. Baldface is a cat-skiing operation in the winter time and with the help of Mike and some locals, they have made it into a premiere back country lodge for mountain bike shuttles as well. The Norco Factory Team is lucky to hook with the fine folks from Kokanee helicopters and experience a heli drop into the high interior peaks around Nelson. We meet up with Ryan Leech back in Nelson for an urban session and then meet up with Mike Kinrade again where he shows us some of the early trails around Nelson where a lot of the local pros got their start.

Ride Guide meets up with the NSMB.com team at Silver Star Resort in the sunny Okanagan to see how the lift accessed scene is taking off their. We head out to Mt. Washington on Vancouver Island for VPS Fest, Norco's one of a kind customer appreciation festival. We head back to the mainland to Fernie, BC and meet up with UK transplant and Norco Factory Team Rider Fionn Griffiths and see her and others in action at the Fernie Canada Cup

Ride Guide heads back to Vancouver Island and just north of Victoria to Sooke, BC. We meet up with Vancouver Island local and Norco Team rider Darcy Turenne and local Sooke riders to see the trails in this dense rainforest of this region. We stay on the island and travel to Duncan and the Iguana Ranch, a mountain biker's Shangrila with shuttle rides up Mt. Provost right out the door. We drive to Whistler and meet up the guys from Gammalight Pictures and talk about their first film "Nine to Five" and finally feature one of the most popular endures on the West Coast, the Cheakamus Challenge.

Norco Factory Team rider Roddi Lega joins Ride Guide and travels to Costa Rica for La Ruta de los Conquistadores, a three day stage race across Costa Rica from the Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic Ocean. One of the physically toughest mountain bike stage races in the world, the riders will climb the equivalent of Mt. Everest in the three days with no foreign riders outside of Costa Rica ever winning this race.

Ride Guide travels to the Sunshine Coast and Gibsons, BC where we meet up with Ryan Leech as he is filming with Radical Films for the latest Kranked movie Ride Guide then hits up Whistler's Bike Park for the weekend as well down the Sea to Sky Highway to Squamish for some Norco demos and ride the Squamish trails with the locals.

Ride Guide kicks off the episode on Bowen Island, a 30 minute ferry ride from West Vancouver, and meet up with premiere Shore builder and flow rider Dan Cowan and see what he's been working on in his back yard.
