I like the show but the characters are so changeable. Archie kisses a girl from the Pussycats some episodes ago. Then they were never seen together again. But we learn in this one that they are actually a couple.
Plus let me guess Archie will kiss Cheyl next ?
Cheyl warns the pregnant girl about her family. Then she's all for her staying with her family.
I love how every family in this show has their own aesthetic and they stick to it so perfectly: the Blossoms and their old money class, the Lodges and their new money chic, the Coopers straight outta Stepford / literal "white noise," the hard-working Americandrews "bedrock of this town," and of course the Joneses from the "wrong side of the tracks" (apparently literally). Imagine all the in-breeding that had to have taken place for an entire family of people to have red hair like the Blossoms do, and then forget it because it does not actually matter. Just like it doesn't matter that at least 70% of the dialogue is either melodramatic or straight up insane (basically anything Cheryl says).
Absolutely no time spent on the who-killed-Jason mystery equals a frustrating and mediocre outing. I'm a patient person and I'm fine with not resolving everything in episode nine, but to go the entire episode and spend none of it advancing the central issue? Not good.
is valerie okay ??? what was with all the i wont be bought crap? her boyfriend literally just told her that he realized he was wrong and apologized and she saw that as a token of buying?? does she know what buying means?? im just confused
It feels like the focal point of the events are not finding out who killed Jason blossom anymore.
Cheryl is infinitely hotter than Valerie, and the family has all that money. Yeah, you have to deal with an entire family of crazies, but... might be worth it.
