Luke going to Dagobah was not a self-imposed exile... he went there specifically to train under Yoda. Archie is not in the same kind of situation whatsoever. That comparison makes no sense.
Sooo the quarantine thing at the end of the previous episode was pointless. They just brushed right past it. Why even bother, then?
Who the fuck is Tyler?? Where the hell did he come from? There were only girls at the Sisters.
"Even the mocktails are selling out." That implies they are indeed now selling actual alcohol. What the absolute fuck? How the hell is a 16 year-old selling alcohol to other minors and getting away with it? A lack of a sheriff doesn't mean the law ceases to exist. There's no way an adult wouldn't find out about this and report it. This is so goddamn stupid.
Cheryl and Toni randomly becoming burglars was dumb, and ultimately served no purpose.
Why the hell wouldn't they unmask that Gargoyle Gang member to see who he is?! Even if you don't recognize him, you could at least memorize what he looks like for future reference.
The G&G stuff has been dumb and inaccurate from the start, but it's really starting to get on my nerves now. "Ok, you can play one round." That's not how tabletop roleplaying games work. You don't draw cards. Game masters don't level up, as Jughead has mentioned in previous episodes. The writers wanted to cash in on Stranger Things hype, but they have no clue how TTRPGs work and didn't put in any effort to find out.
