Watching this while waiting for Lucifer to come out at the end of the month. Tom Ellis plays Dr. Rush, a man who has got daddy issues, girlfriend issues, does drugs and other stuff and has a black best friend, just like on Lucifer in a way (a part that his black BFF is his brother in the other show). Doesn't really dissapoint as it's entertaining. I'm surprised it was cancelled to be honest so early as I think it truly had potential.
Because of this cancellation the story doesn't have a nice ending but the ride is still enjoyable and for any Lucifer fans that just can't get enought of Lucifer, then 10 episodes are more than appreciated I'm sure.
The rest of the cast great, the writting was fine and the basic idea was a bit of change from usual doctor shows so it was nice.

I'm happy to round up. I wasn't sure about the show at first, but it grew on me. Then, when I had really started caring about what happened to the characters, it ended on a season-finale cliffhanger.
Network television disappoints me, when they don't give a show enough advance notice of cancellation to at least avoid setting up for a payoff they'll never get the chance to deliver. Even if there's not enough time to tie up all the existing loose ends, they can at least avoid creating more if the upcoming end is known.
