The story starts with Kokila Modi's search for a perfect bride for her son Aham. Meanwhile, Rashi refuses to portray the role of a docile daughter-in-law in her college play, and Indra plans to replace her with Gopi. Will Rashi let Gopi be a part of the play?
Gopi feels bad as she is unable to sign the receipt when the postman gives her the money order. Kokilaben slaps a servant for obstructing the driveway. Hetal Bhabi is introduced. Kokilaben taunts Hetal for asking about the marriage alliance for Aham. The servant is touched when Hetal nurses his wounded toe. Pannah complains against Rashi and Maami for giving too much work to Gopi. Urmila scolds Mamaji for hiding money from her. Parakh and Hetal are scared to see Baa not waking up.
Kokilaben scolds Parakh and compares him to his successful brother Chirag. Meanwhile, Urmila informs Rashi that Kokilaben will come to see her and advises her to act like a traditional girl. Later, Rashi shouts at Gopi for spoiling her mehendi. Will Kokilaben like Rashi or will she find her reality?

Aham meets his girlfriend, Anita, and informs her about his engagement. Meanwhile, Kokila makes a sudden announcement that Aham and Gopi’s engagement will commence on the next day. Later, Gopi hands her jewellery to Urmila for safekeeping. Will Anita let Aham slip away from her life?
Aham tries to contact Anita but fails. The family gets ready for the engagement ceremony. Hetal and Urmila are happy to see Rashi and Jigar together. Fire breaks out at the Modi Bhavan and Hetal gets trapped in it. Gopi tries to save Hetal but falls unconscious. Later, everyone finds out that Rashi spilled ghee in the mandir which caused the fire. Kokila gets irritated when Kinjal claims that Gopi is inauspicious for the house.
Haldi ceremony begins in the Modi Bhawan. Meanwhile, Hetal announces that Jigar has given his consent to marry. Kokila and Hetal also announce their decision to get Jigar married to Sonal. Urmila and Rashi get depressed as their plan fails. What will Urmila and Rashi plan now?

Gopi’s illiteracy shocks Ahem and he goes to the extent of telling her that she married him just for his money. He also tells her about his earlier relationship with Anita. Will Gopi ever win Ahem’s heart?
Gopi confesses the truth about her relationship with Ahem, to Hetal. Rashi is irritated about doing the domestic chores and complains about Gopi to Urmila. Ahem leaves home without breakfast, avoiding Gopi.
Kokila is taken aback when Hetal tells her that Ahem knows about Gopi’s illiteracy. She also tells Gopi that she should be a dutiful wife. Urmila questions Gopi about her in-laws.
Kokila warns Gopi not to speak about Ahem slapping her but unfortunately Urmila overhears this conversation. Gopi faces Kinjal’s questions about her relationship with Ahem and she also is mocked by Urmila who says that she will never be able to win over Ahem.
Ahem promises Kokila that he will keep Gopi happy but he tells Gopi that he can never accept her as his wife. Gopi pleads with Ahem to accept her even though he makes her sleep on the floor. Will Ahem relent in time?
Rashi plans to tell Jigar to start his own business, and leave the household. She also lies to Jigar about the money. A distressed Gopi prays to the Almighty to help her solve the issues in her life.
Kokila is impressed when Gopi does the pooja single handedly. Gopi tells Kokila about Aham's decision regarding their relationship. Kokila is surprised to see Aham avoiding Gopi. Kokila taunts Urmila as Rashi takes a lot of time to get ready for the pooja. Rashi is shocked when Jigar gives her Rs 10, 000 and asks her to use it for the whole month. She is stunned when Jigar reveals the truth about his position in the family business. Urmila consoles an upset Rashi. Kokila is irritated to see Gopi being absent-minded during the pooja.
Gopi tells Kokila that she wants to leave. Even though Urmila wants Rashi to take advantage of Gopi’s decision, Kokila defends Gopi completely and tells her that she cannot take such a decision.
Kinjal tells Gopi that she should leave Ahem and this shocks Gopi immeasurably. Urmila wants Rashi to find out the details of Jigar’s bank balance. Meanwhile, Ahem throws Gopi out of the room accusing her of stealing money.
Even though Gopi pleads with Urmila to take her away from Modi Bhavan, Urmila convinces her to stay on. Rashi finds out that Ahem is the owner of Modi Industries and this shocks her. How will Urmila deal with the fact that Ahem is the owner?
Gopi tells Kokila that she wants to leave. Even though Urmila wants Rashi to take advantage of Gopi’s decision, Kokila defends Gopi completely and tells her that she cannot take such a decision.
Urmila puts mehendi on Gopi’s hands rendering her incapable of doing work and this irritates Kokila immensely. Chirag asks Urmila to extend her stay at Modi Bhavan and this angers Kokila.
Kokila makes arrangements for Urmila to leave the house and this shocks both Rashi and Urmila. Ahem turns a deaf ear to Gopi’s pleas and turns her out of the room as well.
Baa makes a promise to Gopi that she will unite her with Ahem. Even though the family is watching wedding videos together, Ahem is missing because he chooses to work. Kinjal is irritated to see her video with Umang.
Gopi makes a late-night dinner for Jigar when he comes home, but then earns the ire of Kokila when she tells her that she has not made a special breakfast for Ahem. Chirag prevents Kokila from reprimanding Gopi. Urmila tells Rashi to take better care of Jigar.
Rashi spoils the clothes that Gopi has ironed and this makes Kokila scold Gopi. Kokila also mocks Gopi by saying that she seems to take more care of Jigar, than she does of Ahem. Ahem’s secretary asks Gopi to send a file to Ahem.
Ahem is furious with Gopi because the file sent by her to his office caused a lot of embarrassment to him. He asks Kokila to keep Gopi out of his work. Meanwhile, Jigar buys gold bangles for Rashi but to his surprise, she does not appreciate the gesture.
Kokila wants Gopi and Ahem to mend their relationship. Radha ill treats Gauri, and orders her to clean the house. Rashi becomes upset on learning that Kokila is searching for a groom for her. Kokila humiliates Jigar. Gopi finds Gauri cleaning the house, and stops her. Gauri informs Gopi that she cannot read. Gopi consoles Gauri, and decides to educate her. Radha and Gopi have an argument with each other. Kokila learns about Radha's misdeed, and orders her to leave the Modi Bhavan.
Kokila becomes furious at Jigar for entering the Modi Bhavan. Hetal tries to make Kokila recall her past. Kokila refers to Sahir and Samar as Ahem and Jigar, respectively. Urmila humiliates Dhaval and Kinjal. Baa asks Gopi and Hetal not to worry about Kokila. Gopi misleads Kokila about Sahir and Samar. Gauri recalls her past on entering the storeroom. Gopi finds Gauri depressed about something. Radha decides to send Gauri out of the Modi Bhavan.

Radha decides to place the missing necklace in Gauri's bag. Ahem vows to prove Gauri's innocence. Prateek asks Dhaval to get him an electronic tablet. Kokila finds Jigar and Rashi together. However, Jigar manages the situation. Gopi comforts Gauri on seeing her upset. Ahem informs Kokila that Gauri has not stolen the necklace. Kokila vows to find out the thief.
Kokila finds Ahem placing an order for a necklace, and misunderstands him. Kinjal and Urmila have an argument with each other. Ahem tries to hide the new necklace from Kokila, but she finds it. Kokila accuses Ahem of being the thief, but Hetal saves him. Gopi misleads Kokila about the necklace, and saves Ahem. Kokila orders Ahem to help Gopi in wearing the necklace. She decides to find the stolen necklace. Ahem does not want Gauri to leave the Modi Bhavan. Gauri thanks Ahem.
Kokila becomes furious at Sahir for not performing well in the exam. Ahem recalls his childhood on seeing Kokila with the children. He becomes furious at Gopi on finding her near his room. Radha decides to prove that Gauri has stolen the necklace. Kokila learns that Gauri is innocent. She finds the stolen necklace entangled with Radha's dupatta. Radha tries to accuse Gauri, but Kokila stops her. Kokila proves that Gauri is innocent, and decides to find the real culprit.
Radha tries to reveal the truth about the children, but Hetal stops her. Gopi tries to make Kokila recall her past. Kokila advises Ahem not to ill treat Gopi. Gopi asks Gauri not to worry about Radha. Gauri tries to persuade Ahem to forgive Gopi. Ahem becomes furious at Gopi, but she retaliates. Ahem and Gopi promise Gauri that they will not argue with each other. The police inform Ahem that there were two ladies in the temple.

Radha informs Tripti that she has unlocked the front door of the Modi Bhavan.
Tripti orders her associate to kidnap Gauri. Radha finds Tripti's associate in the Modi Bhavan, and directs her towards Gauri's room. Tripti's associate kidnaps Vidya on mistaking her to be Gauri. Gopi catches Tripti's associate. Ahem decides to call the police. Tripti's associate informs that she had come to take Gauri. Radha misleads the Modi family by telling that Tripti's associate is Gauri's mother. Gauri informs Ahem that she does not recognise Tripti's associate.

The police visit Dhaval's house, and order him to return the money. Kokila finds Radha speaking to Tripti, and questions her.
Radha pretends to be suffering from stomach pain. The children trick Ahem into having the food, prepared by Gopi. Kokila becomes furious at Sahir, and beats him. Sahir informs Kokila that he is not Ahem, and she is not his mother. Hetal tries to console Kokila. Sahir apologises to Ahem and Rashi for his misdeed. The Modi family finds Kokila in an unconscious state. Gopi decides to send the children to a boot camp. Radha becomes elated on learning the same.

Dhaval learns that the police who confronted him were fake. Radha learns that Ahem has decided to send Gauri to the boot camp.

Radha informs Tripti that the children of the Modi family are going to a camp. Radha also wants to go to the camp. Kinjal sends Prateek to the camp. The police arrive at Urmila's house. Urmila's family fights with the police. Meanwhile, a police officer becomes unconscious. Tripti meets Radha in disguise. Rashi sees Radha with Tripti.

The trainer at the camp informs Gauri that a punishment will be given to her for failing to complete the task. Jitu decides to inform the police. Tripti cuts the safety belt, worn by Gauri. Madhu and Urmila manage to mislead Jigar about the same. Tripti informs Radha about her plan of killing Gauri. Ahem becomes depressed on recalling Meera. Gauri consoles Ahem. Ahem becomes furious at Gopi, and orders her to stay away from him.
The trainer at the camp informs the parents that they will have to assist the children in completing the tasks. Radha decides to team up with Gauri. Urmila and her family decide to bury the unconscious police officer. Hetal becomes shocked on seeing Kokila in a salwar suit. Urmila finds the police officer regaining consciousness, and beats him. Kokila finds Jigar and Rashi together. She decides to get Jigar married to Radha. Radha wants to take revenge on Rashi, and hence, agrees to marry Jigar.
Tripti informs Radha about her plan of injuring Gauri. A trainer at the camp divides the children and their parents into groups. Kokila and Savita have an argument with each other during the task. Radha executes her plan against Gauri. However, Gopi foils her plan. Rashi becomes injured while completing a task. The trainer informs Kokila that her team has been disqualified. Ahem agrees to visit the boot camp, along with Vidya. Gopi becomes suspicious of Radha.
Prateek becomes elated on seeing Kinjal and Dhaval in the boot camp. Tripti instructs Radha to execute her plan against Gauri. The trainer gives instructions to the parents and the children about paintball. Gopi motivates Gauri to win the game. She learns that Ahem's paintball gun has been tampered. Ahem decides to shoot Gauri, unaware of the same. Gopi stops Ahem from shooting Gauri. She informs Ahem about the attempt of injuring Gauri.
Ahem and Gopi inform the police that the paintball gun had been tampered, to injure Gauri. The police officer assures Ahem and Gopi of catching the culprit. Radha suggests Tripti not to execute their next plan. Gopi remembers that it is Meera's birthday, and prays for her wellbeing. Prateek informs Urmila and Kinjal that he has kept the money with him. The police officer informs Ahem and Gopi that he has deployed his officers in civil dress.
The trainer divides the parents into groups. Ahem becomes suspicious on seeing Tripti, but she manages to escape. He advises Gopi to take care of Gauri. Gauri motivates Vidya to complete the task. Tripti succeeds in tampering Gauri's harness. Gauri falls off the cliff, and sustains a head injury. Kokila becomes unconscious on seeing Gauri falling. Ahem and Gopi manage to save Gauri. Gopi becomes shocked on seeing Gauri in an unconscious state. Tripti learns that the police are searching for her.
Gopi suspects that Gauri is Meera. Rashi learns about Gauri and Kokila. The children become depressed about Gauri. Radha informs Tripti that Ahem has agreed to donate blood to Gauri. Kokila's mother, Revati, becomes furious at the Modi family for not informing her about Kokila's accident. Tripti decides to kill Gauri. The children pray for Gauri's wellbeing. Tripti disguises herself as a cleaner, and enters the hospital. She finds Radha in Gauri's room. Radha and Tripti decide to kill Gauri.
Radha and Tripti try to kill Gauri. Meanwhile, Kokila sees Gauri palpitating, and informs the doctor. The doctor tends to Gauri. Radha and Tripti manage to escape. The doctor informs Ahem that Gauri might be related to him. Gopi informs Rashi that Gauri has similar stitch marks on her leg which Meera had. Rashi suggests Gopi to undergo a maternity test, to find out whether Gauri is her daughter. Radha witnesses Gauri undergoing the test.
Gopi wants to find Meera. Rashi becomes suspicious of Radha. Radha informs Tripti about the maternity test. Ahem and Gopi pray for Gauri's wellbeing. Kokila feels proud of Ahem for donating blood to Gauri. Radha advises Urmila to take Rashi home. Baa and Revati ask the children not to worry about Gauri. They inform Gopi that they have seen Rashi. Later, Hetal, Kokila, Urmila and Baa become shocked on learning that the children are missing from their rooms. The children rescue Gopi from the goons. Gopi informs Jigar that she has found a clue regarding Rashi. She tells Hetal about the same. Ahem asks Gopi to return home with the children.

Tripti advises Radha to stay in the hospital, and update her about the situation. The doctor informs the Modi family that Kokila is unconscious. Ahem blames Gopi for Kokila's condition. Rashi and Ahem have an argument with each other. Vidya, Sahir and Samar pray for Kokila's wellbeing. Kokila regains consciousness, and wishes to speak to Gopi.
Kokila identifies Rashi as Jigna, but fails to identify Gopi and Ahem. She suffers a partial memory loss. The doctor suggests the Modi family to keep Kokila happy. Tripti suggests Radha to keep Gauri away from the Modi family. Rashi pretends to be Jigna, and informs Kokila that Gauri has saved her. Ahem yells at Gopi, and instructs her not to meet Kokila. Kokila suggests Ahem to respect Gopi, and embraces her. Radha sends Gauri back to the temple. Hetal questions Radha about Gauri.

Jigar shows Rashi's driving license to the police officer and gets her released. Ahem learns that the driver of the auto-rickshaw has dropped Kokila at the railway station.
