A mediocre anime with a fun story to follow, mainly because it features an older protagonist than usual, offering a different worldview. However, the anime has two main issues: the generic isekai world, which becomes monotonous compared to our world, which is much more captivating due to the blend of genres the author proposes, making it more interesting to watch. The other issue is the age difference between the characters, which creates problematic moments. The animation is average—not bad, but nothing impressive either.
Recommendation : :warning:
I have a lot of trouble with this anime. I liked the fact that the main character wasn't reincarnated. The big problem is that it tried to develop two worlds at the same time, with two stories, in so few episodes.
On top of that, he starts an intrigue with the girl next door for nothing. He could have developed a plot about the fact that she also has powers and hides them from everyone while trying to get closer to Sasaki for help or advice. A little hint about the second season. In the end, we end up with far too many scenes that add nothing to the current season.
Finally, whether it's the magical world or Sasaki's world, there's a certain maturity. Then, all of a sudden, we get witches coming out of nowhere dressed as little girls.
As MG_Grey said, in the beginning I was hoping for a good show, but in the end, it wasn’t. For me it is a rating of 6 :(
I finished Season 1. I was initially super interested and love the isekai world more than the "real" world. Then the magical girls appeared, and I totally lost interest. I probably won't be watching the next season. 6/10 for me

It was a fun watch within the first 3 episodes, then it started to decline. It's just okay, I guess
