A solid season finale. With plenty of thrills. Season 3 please!
Also hoping for a season 3. The last few episodes were solid.
the show hasn't updated, i'm not sure why?? the season 2 two-part finale, "Hallowen" and "Halloween II" is on netflix. so why aren't the episodes shown here?
Well, I wasn't expecting that. I though that Emma was the killer, that she went crazy and develop a second personality or something, but whatever, a solid season like the first one.
I burned through the first and second seasons of this series in three weekday days. That's usually how long it takes me to decide whether to move through some of the less compelling pilots I have attempted to watch.
Of course, my views could be a little biased since I really do like slasher films to begin with. And although there indeed was an underwhelming amount of body count in a series supposedly based on a slasher film franchise that usually left the main lead friendless and fending for herself, I really did still like it.
I liked how the characters gradually became familiar as the series progressed. This would've effectively drawn buckets of tears from my eyes at their death scenes. But as already mentioned, hardly anybody that mattered actually died. Of course, my heart did still break when they killed off the two douchebags right when they were just about to turn their lives around. Television is a cruel, cruel world!
And god, that scene on the police department's rooftop was really, really upsetting in a 'M'just-gonna-curl-up-in-a-corner-and-sort-myself-out' way! T.T
I heard about this series last year and I have always wanted to watch it. But it wasn't until I had to do some research about it and found out that Bex Taylor-Klaus was in it that I actually took the effort to search it out (got the hugest girl crush on her since Arrow). I already knew who the killers were going to be before I came into this series, but I made sure I didn't find out who they were going to kill to leave myself something to bite my nails over. The killer reveals would've resonated with me more deeply if I hadn't known, but as they say it's the journey that counts, right? And Scream sure did a fine job keeping me hooked right up to the very last scene.
Can't wait for the Halloween special in October! I am most certainly going to cry until I'm bleeding from my eyes if any of the remaining Lakewood survivors ever dies.
Then again, what fun would a slasher series be if all of them ended up surviving in the end?
I'm very pleased with this finale. It was thrilling, the writers didn't kill off any of the characters I really want on this show (but they did kill someone, yay!) and the reveal of the murderer near the end was satisfying. I hoped for this outcome, but I didn't think they would go for it.
Even though I really don't like Emma, her character is getting stronger and braver each episode and it's been a thrill to watch it. And I'm just happy they didn't kill off my favorite character, this show without Noah, that's not a show I'd like to watch. Hoping for a new season with Noahs survival rate at 100%. He's what's keeping me on this show. Tbh kill of Emma, she doesn't really need to be alive this long. Heh.
well, that was anticlimactic
Meh no kills no thrills
Nowhere near as good as the S1 finally. This just limped it's way across the finish line. What an unimaginative final i saw coming a mile away. Emma needs to die now, there's
no way she should have made it this far, and there is absolutely no way I can sit through another season of her god awful acting and that annoying to Hella voice of hers.
They need to cut her out the show completely if they want any chance at bringing me back.
Piss poor ending, piss poor story/plot and a piss poor season/show.
S2 5/10
E12 6/10
Well, I, for one, didn't see that coming. I thought the episode was great, super tension filled! It actually managed to make me jump when the Killer appeared behind one of our heroes. I'm looking forward to another season of Scream
Called it! Guessed it by S1E6&8. I mean he was basically a Billy Loomis cosplayer. It was however a pure guess, since you can't really logically figure out who the killer is, after all you don't have a lot of evidence to go on. The only thing you can say is "That guy, he looks dodgy. He's probably the killer". But damn, it feels awesome to be right :) Sorry for getting too cocky.

A decent ending to the season, found the killer reveal to be a bit predictable but really hope this show doesn't get cancelled and we end up getting a third season
