Lexi tells Emily and Hannah about Josh, and that she saw him with Ashlynn. Both girls urge her to break off her relationship, still unaware of Lexi's secret. Josh continues to text Lexi during practice and begs for a chance to explain. He pleads with Lexi to skip practice and keep the date to meet her at her house that afternoon. When Lexi fakes an illness in order to leave practice early, Corey alerts the girls to the truth and worries that Lexi will be kicked off the team or that they might all get into trouble. Lexi races home and waits in her backyard for Josh. The beauty of a rose has Lexi day dreaming only to wake up to the shock of her life.
