• This includes African/black people descended from Canada and the United States. I can't in good conscience include the rest of the Americas since like 90% of this list includes US citizens.

• In an attempt to sort my ethnicity/race lists better, I've created separate lists for African-Canadians/USians, Afro-Caribbean people, and indigenous/minority African people, all listed below.

• I know that Africans have a complicated history, especially when it comes to genealogy/heritage, but hopefully this decision is more helpful than having a catch-all list for everybody. Let me know if I've made any mistakes!

Does not include every single series with romance, relationships must be a BIG part of the plot. How I Met Your Mother is about how the main character met his childrens' mother and his dating life, but series about high school life (and hormones!!!) would not be included by default. Don't expect very many Hallmark Channel-esque entries here because I've deluded myself into thinking that I don't have low standards. WIP.

TV show auditions [3 episode minimum] Will it make my Purge Precious Jewels or be scrapped?
