[7.5/10] Definitely a solid episode. It had a pretty simple through-line -- get info on the new tie defender -- and things nicely spiraled and expanded out from there. I’m a sucker for a god mystery and Star wars’s spiritual side, so I like the fact that Ezra’s longstanding connection to animals comes into play here.

There’s also just some solid, tense action. Ezra fighting off stormtroopers while Sabine secures the data recorder from the tie prototype is a well-blocked sequence. Thrawn figuring out who’s piloting it and using that knowledge to evaluate the vehicle’s effectiveness in a nice touch. And the wolf-back run around the Empire search party’s searchlights was a nice sequence too.

My guess at the moment is that the wolf is Ahsoka, or something along those line (something in the eyes strikes me), but who knows. It’s weird and different and I can appreciate that.

Overall, this one felt like a bit of a throwback to early S1 episodes, and not just because of the Lothal setting, and the simplicity of that helped make this an enjoyable outing.

That wolf was cool. And did he say "Doom" ? Which is also supossedly Kanan's real name ? Their is definately something there.

They really should rename the guys in white armor Stupidtroopers.

Well, they seem pretty f*** now that Thrawn knows they're here. At least they got a hyperdrive but I'd be surprised if the Empire doesn't find it given those trails from dragging it.

Thrawn was badass when he just stood there but also super stupid! Looks like they cannot kill him yet as he's still relevant for the story... :D

The lothcats can be quite interesting - they can be friendly, aggressive, cute, and annoying - it definitely looks like they're quite intelligent for what they are.

At least the Empire is smart enough to install those killswitches. It looks like Sabine managed to keep that one wing thou ("better than no wings" :D).

That white wolf was nice and interesting.
