So, I am confused. They are worried about the crushing pressure of the ocean at that depth, but they are standing outside the diving pool. So here is the part where I am confused, in order for the water not to rise into the platform, the air in the platform has to exert as much pressure as the surrounding water. So in other words, the internal air pressure is as high as the surrounding water pressure. So why are they concerned about the water pressure outside? Seems to me the temperature would be far more of an issue if they can survive the station air pressure. And I am sure they won't decompress on the way back to Atlantis so they should all be dead by the next episode.
