In this episode, we join Nathan over the course of two weeks in the nail biting build up to The Marquee. We get to know the man himself , we meet the family of musicians and crew who keep the Nathan Carter machine running smoothly and pull out all the stops to make The Marquee gig utterly spectacular. We spend time up close and personal with the woman behind the super star, Nathan’s Grandmother – Anne. For Anne, the realisation that her beloved Grandson is really now a super star is quite overwhelming as she remembers him at five years old singing along to Daniel O’ Donnell. We get on the road with the super fans who genuinely love Nathan – his music, his personality and the chance to meet him after every show. They will travel any distance to see Nathan again and again and again and again! Kilkenny girl Noelle Maher and her sisters make the drive down to The Marquee – the highlight of their summer. Noelle is obsessed by Nathan. She is convinced she’ll be bringing him home to Mammy one of these days! For 68 year old Una Doherty the drive from Co. Antrim to Cork is nothing to her. She is Nathan’s biggest fan and has seen him more than 200 times. For her, Nathan is a very important part of her life. Una and friend Denise are so excited when they get to Cork, they feel like ‘recycled teenagers’! Join us behind the scenes of the phenomenon that is Nathan Carter!
