Probably the most admirable part of Steven Universe so far ("admirable" as in "I guess I admire it, but I'm not sure I like it") is its approach to Lars and Ronaldo, two characters that have been allowed to pretty unlikeable in ways that, to me at least, are highly uncomfortable. I trust in Rebecca Sugar and her collaborators to keep developing them beyond where they are at this early stage, but as of yet, I'm not 100% sure they're worth it.
