Home on the Road
They don’t have bucket loads of money but the Cairns family consider themselves among the wealthiest Australians. Ten years ago they swapped their suburban lives for life on the road, on a bus. Mum, dad and 11 children all live and sleep on board and they wouldn’t have it any other way. The kids don’t go to regular schools, don’t have a fixed address and never stay in one place long enough to settle down.
