Better than I expected and overall an entertaining watch, even more so if you’re actually from South London. Yeah there’s the odd plot hole and some arcs drag on a little …. but super proud of this production and what it represents. Bring on S2!
Heroes meets Top Boy. A fairly basic script but serviceable in the end. Much, much room for improvement. And so ballsy of Netflix to launch it in the middle of The Boys' season, when this one would look nothing but amateurish.
A very good show. Builds up slowly with a few subplots going on. It starts to make sense as the Supercells meet and thing's start to make sense. A good ending, which leaves things nicely poised for a second season. Well worth a watch :thumbsup_tone1:
8/10
Way better then expected!!
It’s start a bit slow, but the incredible writing and character development makes it worth to watch. The different plots going on at the same time are great, they way they got closer to each other each episode was very good and makes you curious for more. From the scene where Micheal and Andre were in the same diner, the show started to become good for me. Not a fan of series that end with a big cliffhanger. Definitely looking forward to season 2. Although Netflix hasn’t announced it yet.
In the end: great story, amazing character development, all the different stories going on at once and crossing paths is so well delivered in this one. Hats of to that!
SPOILERS!!!!!!
They got me with the ending when they all died, and then Micheal turns back time but that also causes Dionne to die… makes me think that the butterflie effect is a big thing in this series.
Gangster on scooters :joy:
Powers and shit dont look bad at all.
As all netflix stuff, not bad, watchable.
It seems like it wants to be "Top boy" (Netflix, 2011-2023) but introducing superpowers as a different element. The problem is that it is not interesting either as a drama about street gangs and characters who face moral challenges, or as a story about normal citizens facing powers they don't know how to control. It is halfway to everything without being relevant to anything, a mixture that doesn't work together because, simply, none of its plots work separately.
Netflix fans hit again with 10s
I'm sure that this is on top of Netflix list on every country as every show movie.
In a brief because i have written much on each episode.
Take "Heroes", the original and superb first season. Login in the AI portal of writers with the username RAPMAN and put all your credits to generate the script of how people found out they have powers, random people which shockingly they are not so random as they bump each other commonly. Put some ultra silly gangs with bikes and electric scooters(!!!) and some bad guys which are ridiculous.
And the group of heroes are the most annoying ever. Of course we had them all struggling black people middle class from south london. Full of stereotypes.
Pretty good show, but I feel like the villains are not villainous enough. Rather they don't make sense to me.
for me its to black i see maybe one white person.... and then u call us white racist .lol get away producer who cant rap overrated
u black u like it.its a black show for black people
excellent show! Can't wait for season 2
loved it, definitely worth a watch.
It's a sad dystopian vision full of thugs and a depressing urban reality devoid of any meaning or purpose beyond the search for "respect".
It's no Heroes.
Weh mi seh and listen mi gud badman - d' show bad nuh bloodclaat!
nice tvshow, has a little Heroes vibe to it.
So Sikk. Highly Recommended to watch. Shame only 6 episodes
