Amazing! Supernatural just punched me right where it hurts: in the damn feels. I was so excited to see Missouri back after 12 freaking years! Did they really bring her back just to murder her after 15 minutes? Of course, female characters on SPN don't stand chance.
Cas! Hells yeah! I screamed when I saw him and I already knew he was coming back. Seeing him lying in the empty (I guess) brought a smile to my face. Can't wait for the flutter of wings "Hello, Dean".
I'm loving this season. The Jack-Sam plot is really getting me. Sam being so supportive of Jack is so sweet. He had Dean to "mother" him and lead him through the right path. Jack lost everyone and Dean is only making it worse. I hurts to see him being cruel to Jack out of grief and anger, but he's got a point. What hurts me the most is that I'm sure Jack's gonna be exactly like Dean and it's gonna be gut wrenching.
I just want to hug Jack. He's achieved cinnamon role status. I swear if they make him evil or hurt that little sweet baby, I'm bringing the pitchforks. He's just too precious for this world. Kelly's message touched my heart. Can you imagine if Mary had done the same with same? Just listening to her voice...what a moving scene. Courtney Ford makes me really emotional.
That argument at the end was the highlight. I usually side with Dean, but picking a side was difficult. Both had convincing points. That scene got me. It felt so different from previous fights. They usually bottle up their feelings but they told each other exactly what they were thinking, not backing down or hiding. Sam saying he was a "freak" and that he wants to save Jack because he understand him was something I've been waiting since the first ep. Dean'll come around when Cas comes back.
Patience was great. Can't wait for Wayward Sisters. The wraith's magical appearing powers were absurd. Missouri's the best: "My people, they're going to murder your ass". Sam Miyagi, lol. Anyone else saw the billboard with the Turducken? lol
Looks like we're getting Castiel back!! I believe in you Jack do it, do it!!
Anyway, a very enjoyable episode away from Jack and this drama, I always love seeing the boys on the road hunting monster and solving cases, so no complains here
I love the connection between Sam and Jack, they always have emotional scenes
Sam why are you being so nice to me?
Because I know how it feels like
Also I understand the way Dean is acting, at the end of the day Jack is still Lucifer's son and have the potential to be a great danger, so Dean is just more careful about things he don't fully trust
Anyway, can't wait for next week's episode, I wanna see if Cas is coming back!!
MISSOURI?!?!?
What a crazy episode? It's been 12 freaking years since she's been on the show but I recognize her voice immediately. Crazy how the boys remember everyone they helped, after everything they've gone through and everyone they've lost, Sam knew exactly who she was when he answered the call.
But honestly why did they have to go and kill her like that? She's a reminder of the good days, when the boys were still just getting their start as a hunting duo. This just makes the whole season feel so much more ominous. Reminds me of when Crowley went and started killing all the people the boys saved in their first cases together.
It hurts in a different kind of way. :(
So nice to have another monster hunt (and so early in the season too). Loved seeing Missouri again but sad to have it be so short. And a very good introduction to Patience for the spin-off, Wayward Sisters. (They've had spin-off test episodes before which failed miserably so it's nice to see them get it right for once). Can't help but feel sorry for Jack but I am confident he'll get on the right track (with a few set backs not unlike our favorite trio). If he succeeds in bringing Cas all the way back, he'll be family.
It's been sooo long, I don't remember her.
CASTIEL LIVES!!
(Somewhere in the void, or what the hell that is.)
Patience is an appealing character and I'm already hoping that she'll be on the upcoming spin-off show. Either way, though, her presence here and the return of Cass --as brief as it was -- combined to make this one a winner. The only negative is that Missouri is apparently not in the running to join the upcoming spin-off show.

Only Supernatural would bring back a character after 12 seasons/years just to kill her mid episode.
