Meet a different breed of brothers: Robbie Keszey is an exotic animal expert and Stephen Keszey is a former city slicker learning the ropes. Together they run Glades Herp Farms, Florida’s largest reptile sanctuary and exotic reptile dealership. The brothers make their living breeding and caring for hundreds of slithering, poisonous and sharp-toothed creatures – but their passion is being on call 24 hours a day to respond to animal emergencies across the state.
In the series premiere, a very nervous Stephen has to distract a highly aggressive mama gator while Robbie collects her eggs to save them from being eaten by wildlife. Stephen is also forced to come face-to-face with his fear of snakes, and makes a newbie mistake that results in a few wild hogs running wild on the farm.
The SWAMP BROTHERS head out on gator patrol, and Stephen learns how to tell the difference between male and female gators when he has to get up close and personal with one of the farm’s females. Robbie heads into a lion’s den to sedate a sick male while Stephen keeps an eye on the protective lioness as she’s ready to pounce.
Robbie and Stephen set out to find the big male gator that has been terrorizing their swamp and injuring other animals. It will take more than just the two of them to capture and move the massive 14-foot bully. When a snake rescue call comes in, Robbie springs into action with a reluctant Stephen to save several giant pythons they find in some surprising locations.
A lover’s quarrel between two giant reptiles has the SWAMP BROTHERS nursing a Cuban croc back to health. Despite the crocs recent loss to an overbearing female, this fast galloping male is still a feisty match, even for Robbie. When Robbie gets a call about an injured female leopard, he finds that the vets are having trouble getting past her over-protective mate. Robbie has a plan, but Stephen isn't happy to be used as bait to trap the aggressive male.
While exhibiting at a reptile expo in Texas, Robbie gets a call from the local zoo. A crocodile has been feistier than usual and a gorilla is overdue for some dental work, and the vets need his expert help. When Robbie and Stephen head to help tag and release sea turtles, only one brother remembers his sea legs.
It’s a day at the zoo! The boys try their hand at a more exotic animal, when a baby giraffe’s injury turns into a dangerous multi-man operation. Also, romance is in the air for Galapagos turtles but the SWAMP BROTHERS need to help a giant female out of a mud pile before she can meet her Mr. Right. Then it’s time to find some rattlers in the desert.

Stephen learns the art of milking a snake but with live snakes lining every wall, the rookie brother has hard time staying focused. Later the brothers head out into the Everglades to grab some blood samples from wild alligators. But one of the gators comes up a little short.
