[6.5/10] This was the season I was waiting for after the original Battle of the Seasons in 2002.
To our luck, however, we got a very frustrating season. The format was great: 8 teams of 4 players with each team representing a different season of The Real World (sans the Fresh Meat team). The main problem, however, was casting mostly rookies.
I thought the concept of the dailies were nice, the elimination style was great, even the final was tough. This season just underperformed because the rumored cast didn’t happen.
Originally, there were going to be 2 Las Vegas teams of 4: Team 1 was Alton/Frank Roessler/Trishelle/Arissa and Team 2 was Leroy/Dustin/Nany/Cooke. But Dustin’s girlfriend at the time (Heather from his Vegas season) did not want him on the same season as Cooke. So production decided to merge the teams together.
Bananas complained because there was supposed to be a Key West team of himself/Tyler/Paula/Janelle (all Challenge winners), but I guess production felt that team would’ve been too stacked. Obviously hindsight is 20/20 considering how the San Diego team performed on the season.
The Fresh Meat team was trash. Camila was on it, even though she didn’t debut on either of those seasons, and Laurel backed out of it when she heard Big Easy would be on the team. Ouch.
Seasons II had a chance to be one of the best ever, but behind the scenes politics really hindered it.

One of the worst seasons. The villains win.
