Gravity done right, the fire, tears, blood coagulation, etc. This is science fiction with actual science, amazing show.

What an amazing setpiece with so much love for the details. For example the tears in zero gravity that stay in the eyes.
This is how you do a filler episode!

They better not kill off Drummer! I hope she'll recover...

I have to say that Clarissa Mao has to be the worst addition to the cast so far, I just can’t seem to enjoy any of the scenes where she shows up. Hopefully, I’ll learn to not hate her as much as time goes by, but for now she’s bottom tier. Apart from that, I really liked this episode.

Nice, they did convey the gravity of such a massive deceleration (IMO, under normal circumstances, everyone should be dead if you come to a stop that quickly from over 10 000 kph).

The "bonding" between Drummer and Ashford was cool. Ashford already calls himself captain (instead of acting captain) so I still don't really trust him in that regard but I'm convinced now that he tries to do his best for the good of the belt.

The CG water/tears in Tilly's eyes where a nice detail (the water didn't leave her eyes due to the lack of gravity). I wonder if the fire effect, the medical issues (blood clothing), etc. are also physically accurate.

Not sure about Anna saving Naomi... Could she have really followed Melba to the Rocinante? That seems like a pretty difficult move to pull off if you've never done it before.

The high and mighty Martians around Bobbie seem pretty stupid and it looks like they lack self-reflection.

I finally figured out the writing style of the show. Lots of good stuff at start of an episode. Big action scene at end of episode. And middle filled with useless & boring stuff.

While the Episode itself is amazing - it isn't even near to being brutal enough.

They increased the initial speed limit from the books to 18000km/h (unless kph means sth different I don't know about..) - that is 5km per second!
If you stop from 5km/s, or even sth like 3km/s there shouldn't be much left of you.

I didn't listen to that part when I watched for the first time, since I didn't anticipate this scene - now that I did, I just have to criticise the change. Especially since there was no reason for it - the actual amount of the speed limit doesn't really matter for the story as long as it exists and is over the usual travel-speed (although there is no absolute speed in space, since speed is always relative to other objects you are moving to or from in a certain vector).

So now I'm rewatching I can be slightly less serious about it.
Mass Effect vibes much? Overwhelming vision? Weird alien tech that connects to multiple other galaxies, the end of everything?
Boy is gonna need a cute Asari scientist to make sense of all that info.

What a tense episode!

After the ring defends itself from the Martian Marine attack, it leaves a wake of death as the crews/vessels feel the effects of massive deceleration in space, plus what no gravity does to those injured or bleeding. But the OPA, with a non warship, it becomes equiped to create its own gravity, which is pretty awesome. Maybe this will lead to a new positive relation with the Belters/OPA.

The stories of Mao, Naomi, Holden and Bobbi are still moving forward, towards the climax of the Ring story and the season finale. What did Holden see? Will Naomi and Bobbi be able to clear Holden's name from Mao's deception?
