Really enjoyed this show though I thought the Obama story didn't have as much substance as the Ford and Roosevelt stories.
Perhaps some of it was down to artistic licence, it was revealing how lonely the life of a First Lady must be.
When I started watching this I was in it solely because of Gillian Anderson. Having a generell interest in history and not knowing much about the three ladies was another incentive.
Kudos to each of the three actresses for delivering great performances but Pfeiffer knocks it out of the park as Betty Ford. Which is why I liked that storyline the most even if it was historically maybe not the most significant. Of course there is a lot of creative freedom involved. But I was surprised how many things are based on facts or maybe rumors. So I'd call it interpretation.
The production value is great, every period looks believable and althought I don't know a lot of original material I think they portrayed each character truthfully.
It was a really entertaining and interesting show to watch.

A pretty good show and an inside look at American politics. I've only watched the first episode do far but looking forward to more. My only complaint is the jumping around between characters, I would much rather see one or maybe 2 characters per episode.

still in disbelief casting just went with the current most famous black actress to play michelle obama instead of an actress who actually resembles her in any way shape or form and then hair & make-up just threw a michelle obama bob on her and called it a day
