In the first episode the team travel to Woodland View, a nursing home on the edge of Sheffield where sixty residents, all suffering from dementia, are being cared for. The residents have a large green outside area for their use, but they cannot enjoy it. The paths are too dangerous, and the doors to the garden have been locked. After 10 days of non-stop work, can the Gang pull off stunning results? Plus details of how viewers can join in and help put the finishing touches to next week's garden in Sunderland.
This week the team help create a garden at Sunderland Carers' Centre, a charity that gives young people who look after family members with illness or disability a chance to escape from their responsibilities. Local residents help the team fashion a teen den with tyre swings and hammocks, and establish a fantasy area with giant-sized flowers for the kids.
