shit shit shit shit shit
I found the running/start scene quite comical. Both actors look like they've never run before.
Also, offred's ear is completely untouched in this episode. Poor editing? lol.
The whole episode made me so anxious.
She finally escapes from hell........ NOT.
Blessed be the Froot Loops!
I FUCKING KNEW IT WAS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE WHY DO KEEP FALLING FOR THIS SHIT I', M DONE
This is one of the hardest shows to watch - my heart races the whole time. But damnit, I almost thought she'd make it...yikes.
"Women are so adaptable, my mother would say. It’s truly amazing what we can get used to." - June
"I’ve waited before, I thought things might be ok, I swore I’d never do that again." - June
"No mother is ever completely a child’s idea of what a mother should be and I suppose it works the other way around as well, but, despite everything, we didn’t do badly by one another, we did as well as most. I wish my mother were here so I could finally tell her I know this, so I could tell her I forgive her....and then ask Hannah to forgive me." - June
"Raise your daughter to be a feminist... she spends her time waiting to be rescued by men."
This episode was very long shots and everyone being silent. But not bad scenario. Terrible ending!
I think I'm OK to comment now... Whew! I felt like I'd been holding my breath for most of the time there.
I still kinda hope we see Omar again, mostly to find more pieces of the puzzle like how did he and his family see it coming and adjusted before it was too late. If his family is OK it'll be a bonus though I can't help hating his wife a little bit. She didn't say the words but the way she scolded June - because she apparently had a choice. That's some Sorkin-level prescience.
FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK

How is it possible that Nick can be with her at the Boston Globe without his patrons notice his absence? That doesn't make any sense. This is the episode that I have enjoyed the least.
