Ernie Johnson is the iconic voice of Turner Sports, a five-time Sports Emmy Award winner and longtime host of TNT’s Inside the NBA studio show. With Johnson at the helm, Inside the NBA also has won five Sports Emmy Awards for Outstanding Studio Show – Daily. In addition to his 30 years hosting Inside the NBA, Johnson also has hosted “March Madness” studio coverage since 2011 and has been an integral part of MLB on TBS game and studio coverage since 2007. Johnson became a New York Times best-selling author in 2017 with Unscripted: The Unpredictable Moments that Make Life Extraordinary.
Kenny Smith is a longtime member of TNT’s Inside the NBA studio show. While Smith has been an analyst, Inside the NBA has won four Sports Emmy Awards for Outstanding Studio Show – Daily. This year, Smith received a Sports Emmy nomination for Best Analyst. Smith makes regular appearances on NBA TV and has served as analyst for Turner Sports and CBS Sports’ combined coverage of the NCAA March Madness Division I Men’s Basketball Championship since 2011. Smith is also the founder of The Jet Academy, the virtual live basketball camp.
Charles Barkley is in his 21st consecutive year as an analyst for TNT’s Sports Emmy Award-winning Inside the NBA studio show. Barkley has won four Sports Emmys in the Outstanding Sports Personality – Studio Analyst category. In 2020, Inside the NBA received the inaugural Transformative Media Award from the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. Barkley was named to the Sports Broadcasting Hall of Fame Class in 2020. He and Ernie Johnson co-host The Steam Room weekly podcast, which debuted during the 2019-20 NBA season. Barkley also has worked as a studio analyst for NCAA March Madness coverage since 2011.
Shaquille O’Neal joined Turner during the 2011-2012 season as a studio analyst on TNT’s Sports Emmy® Award-winning Inside the NBA studio show. In addition to his role on Inside the NBA, O’Neal is an analyst for NBA on TNT Tuesday game coverage alongside former teammate Dwyane Wade, Candace Parker and host Adam Lefkoe. O’Neal is a key contributor to NBA TV and NBA.com, providing analysis and commentary throughout the regular season, The Finals, All-Star Weekend and the NBA Draft as well as co-hosting the network’s Shaqtin’ A Fool series.
