Chekhov's Railing. I knew that someone would end up going over it, but I didn't know who. And I sure didn't expect it to take that long. By the time it happened, I was practically rooting for someone to just take a leap and get it over with. It was just badly done and, combined with Monroe making a really stupid and out-of-character decision in the aftermath, made for a disappointing outing for me. But I expect Max to do something heroic with regard to his new boss in the next and final episode...

Since there is only one episode left I suppose it doesn't matter much. But since Tomas is working for Brady I think he's just got him something to blackmail both Monroe and Kathleen to do what he wants.
