Managing editor Neill O’Neill and designer Kevin Loftus prepare their presentation for the awards ceremony in Vienna. Do they have what it takes to impress newspaper editors from all over Europe? But before they go, Neill clashes with Kevin over a controversial photo spread. The Munster Express has been in the Walsh family for three generations, current editor Kieran Walsh prides himself on the paper’s values, integrity and accuracy but what will be proof reader Nicola Hayles’ reaction be when she returns from holiday to find spelling mistakes in the paper? Meanwhile in Ennis in the offices of The Clare Champion, sports journalist Peter O’Connell receives an unexpected phone call. After an infamous clash with Clare hurling manager Davy Fitzgerald, he gets a chance to interview the manager for the first time in 12 months.
