Chronological order of all relevant Star Wars movies and shows, both life-action as animated
I have included some series that are still in (pre-)production
The Star Wars franchise has spawned multiple films and television series. Two animated series were released in the mid-1980s. Further animated series began to be released in the 2000s, the first two of which focused on the Clone Wars. After Disney's acquisition of Lucasfilm, only the latter was kept in the canon of continuity of the episodic Star Wars films. Two additional half-hour animated series were ordered, one of which ties into the original trilogy, the other the sequel trilogy. Three live-action Star Wars series will be released on Disney+, with the first, The Mandalorian, premiering on November 12.
The Star Wars films and TV productions.
Including:
- Skywalker saga (Episodes I-IX)
- Standalone films
- Television productions
- Television Series
Star Wars is an American epic space-opera media franchise created by George Lucas, which began with the eponymous 1977 film and quickly became a worldwide pop-culture phenomenon. The franchise has been expanded into various films and other media, including television series, video games, novels, comic books, theme park attractions, and themed areas, comprising an all-encompassing fictional universe. The franchise holds a Guinness World Records title for the "Most successful film merchandising franchise". In 2020, the total value of the Star Wars franchise was estimated at US$70 billion, and it is currently the fifth-highest-grossing media franchise of all time.

Notes for the year:
- SAG-AFTRA strike started on 7/14/23 and no new seasons were being released or worked. This caused me to catch up on back log shows I never got to start or finish.
- TED LASSO was incredible and will go down as one of the best shows I have watched in a long time.

Star Wars not yet watched, most are hard to find, (only easy left is Clone Wars)
This is the "Machete order", but includes everything that came after the first two trilogies.
For the reasoning behind the machete order see: https://www.rodhilton.com/2011/11/11/the-star-wars-saga-suggested-viewing-order/
Idea of the "Skwalker Saga" is to put more focus on Luke by starting with him and establish where he came from, and give Anakin a more heroic setup to have a more impactful redemption moment in VI, and then again puts Luke in the center in the new movie trilogy, i.e. starting and ending with Luke. Middle part is very unfocussed though and could be left out for the pure Skywalker experience.
The complete canon storyline of Star Wars in chronological order.
