The Biden administration is under scrutiny as critics say the White House was not prepared for a surge in unaccompanied children arriving at the U.S.-Mexico border. Rutgers University is the first university to require its students to get the Covid-19 vaccine before coming onto campus for the fall semester. They also plan to build pop-up Covid-19 testing sites to help Broadway theaters reopen by fall. The New York Police Department unveiled new initiatives to address anti-Asian hate crimes.
