Poor Arthur, such an unfortunate haircut.
Once again, we've done away with the old cast (the one from The White Princess) and replaced everyone. I can't complain too much this time around, since some years have passed story-wise, and everyone is supposed to look older. They did a great job casting the new Maggie though, for a second I thought it was the same actress. I do wish, however that they would have gotten two actresses who more closely resembled each other to play mother and daughter, but we probably won't see much more of Queen Isabella, so it's fine.
The other thing, is that I can tell they're trying hard with the accents, they are, but would it really have been that hard to get spanish actors (or south american actors for that matter) to play the spaniards? They got one for Queen Isabella, who I'm betting we won't be seeing much more of.
I'm sure there are plenty of good actors who speak spanish as their native tongue, but are also fluent in english. It's a little detail, and I know I'm being extremely nitpicky about it, but being a native spanish speaker myself, their weird pronunciations and accents are a lot more evident to me, and they keep distracting me from what's actually being said. I wish Starz would have gone the extra mile. At least for the role of Catherine.

They really went out of their way to make Arthur look like a dork and Henry the pretty boy.

Catherine portrayed here is not very likable, but rather entitled and arrogant. She is not the reserved and empathetic princess she is usually made out to be. Not sure how I feel. Very Starz-y adaptation of historic events. Why would Elizabeth of York seal her threat with a kiss?
