casting John Cho as the go-to actor that played all the Asian roles is chef's kiss casting
The most focused episode so far and yet the most superfluous. I liked it because this time I was actually able to follow the plot, lol.
I was thinking the episode feels weirdly muted style-wise compared to the previous ones, before the credit reveals that it's not directed by Park Chan-wook, and the rest of the series sadly won't be either. Park still co-wrote all of them though, and this may be the strongest story-wise since the premiere, as the film-setting really coheres the episode (and the presence of RDJ, in his best showcase so far, makes the Tropic Thunder echo even stronger). Loved the richly meta cinema/cultural commentary throughout. "That’s cinema."

Tightest episode since the premiere, and I enjoyed the Tropic Thunder of it all.
