Henry and Clare are going to be married and worried Henry tends to travel to the future where he sees Clare crying and they possibly splitting off. Due to the stress about the future and willingness to puzzle out the scenes he glimpsed, Henry travels much more frequently than it is usual and ends up stuck in the future, while his older self travels to the past and is the one who actually marries Clare, and the younger version talks with the older Clare, who explains to him the meaning of marriage. This was a bit moving. We also get acquainted with Henry's dad, from whom Henry seems to be estranged and meets him rarely, as dad started drinking after losing his wife. Another scene I liked in this episode was the older Henry asking his dad if it is worth getting married even if you would eventually lose your spouse someday. During his travel to the future, the younger Henry also discovers that he and Clare would never have any children since the babies inherit the time travel gene and time travel before they are even born. This is really sad as Clare has always wanted children and Henry is worried that by marrying her he would actually make her unhappy. Overall the episode was OK, though the repetitive time travel scenes get old a bit.
