Since Beard protected his cover by shooting Brandon and no one saw what will happen in the future he will be on the M.E.M. mission in 1978. Assuming Tony and Doug won't be there (again) does that mean he will succeed in sabotating the mission or are the events going to continue indefinately? Meaning Doug and Tony will always be there to stop him ? Since from the 1968 point of view it hasn't happen yet ?
I know, I know, 60s TV. Nobody probably thought as far as this.
But what reason could there be for taking guns on a Mars mission ? Or place some on a fuel dump on the moon. Whom were they expecting to meet ?
