Very solid episode. Dean's testicular torsion escapade didn't do too much for me in terms of a story. It's generally amusing when Dr. Venture is in a state of annoyance with things, especially his boys, and getting some banter with Master Bill Quizboy and Mr. White was good for some comedy, but overall it was the weaker of the two plots in the episode.

However, Hank and Brock getting stuck with the Monarch during his surprise party was stellar stuff. The mundane boring nature of Monarch's lair, Brock causing a ruckus in order to liven things up as a semi-favor to The Monarch, Dean being oblivious as usual, the little continuity nods ("You broke my heart, Hank"), it was all a hoot. Plus the whole Guild of Calamitous Intent bylaws thing was hilarious in showing the dull bureaucratic side of The Monarch's supervillainy. It was an uneven episode, but this half of it was enough to carry it into becoming and overall good one.
