Do-hun and Soo-jin is a married couple. They used to be affectionate towards each other, but now they bicker all the time. Soo-jin wants some change in their marriage life and suggests that they should have a baby, but Do-hun refuses to have a baby. And one day, Soo-jin makes a tough decision.
Do-hun finds out that Soo-jin is just pretending to be having an affair just to get divorced. Soo-jin comes up with a new plan, and she asks Bryan for some help. Meanwhile, Do-hun is devastated by the fact that he has Alzheimer's disease.
As Bryan keeps asking Soo-jin the reason why she wants to get divorced, she tells him what’s on her mind. Bryan chooses to continue helping her. He even comes up with a scenario and teaches her acting. And, according to the scenario, Soo-jin goes to make Do-hun fall for her with a special makeup on. Meanwhile, Do-hun considers quitting his job.
Soo-jin changes to Yoo-jeong through makeup and tries to seduce Do-hun. She asks him to teach her fishing, and they go to an island to fish. Meanwhile, Ye-rim prepares a gift and books a restaurant to celebrate the day she and Bryan first met two years ago. However, Bryan chooses to meet his ex-girlfriend.
Soo-jin pretends to be happy that Do-hun fell for Yoo-jeong and spent one night with her. Do-hun agrees to get a divorce with Soo-jin. He also realizes that his disease is progressing faster than he thought. Meanwhile, Ye-rim finds out that Bryan didn’t cheat on her.
Ah-ram enters a kindergarten. Do-hun comes to the kindergarten to see Ah-ram, but she and Soo-jin are not there. Do-hun gets disappointed and loses control. Meanwhile, Kyung-hun, who has been fond of Soo-jin, promises that he will go camping with Ah-ram.
Soo-jin finds out that Do-hun came to Ah-ram’s kindergarten. She’s worried if Do-hun suddenly shows up in front of Ah-ram and decides to take legal action against Do-hun. Meanwhile, Bryan runs into Ye-rim at a film set.
Soo-jin runs into Do-hun on the street and warns him that he should never show up in front of Ah-ram. Meanwhile, Soo-ah tells Soo-jin that she and Hang-seo will hold a wedding ceremony. Hang-seo and Soo-ah persuade Do-hun to come to their wedding, but Do-hun refuses.
Soo-jin comes to visit Do-hun, but his caregiver won’t let her meet Do-hun. Soo-jin feels devastated and even gets taken to a hospital. Meanwhile, Do-hun finds out that Soo-jin knows about his condition.
Soo-jin continues to look after Do-hun even though all of her friends try to stop her. Also, Soo-jin’s mother finds out about Do-hun’s condition and gets shocked. Meanwhile, Bryan and Ye-rim start to date again.
As Do-hun regains his lucidity, Soo-jin decides that he should be at home. She takes care of Do-hun and her daughter, all while continuing to work. This causes the people around her to worry, but Soo-jin says she cannot let Do-hun go.
Do-hun, Soo-jin, and Ah-ram adjust to living together as a family and eventually, they find a good balance. However, Do-hun’s condition continues to worsen. Everyone lends a hand to help Do-hun understand his life. Bryan, in particular, comes up with a creative idea.
Soo-jin is frustrated that she can’t do anything to help Do-hun as he begins to forget her. Bryan and Ye-rim suggest that Soo-jin remind Do-hun of memorable things from their past. Soo-jin recreates their dates to try and help him remember. Meanwhile, Soo-jin’s lawyer discovers that the chocolate that Do-hun created is patented under someone else’s name.
Do-hun’s memory returns to when he and Soo-jin first met in college. Soo-jin doesn’t want to scare him so she goes along with Do-hun’s version of reality. However, Do-hun doesn’t recognize anyone besides Soo-jin and Hang-seo and grows increasingly dependent. Although Ah-ram misses her dad, Do-hun begins to lose sense of time.
While Do-hun is still stuck in the past, he receives a big shock when he finds out about Ah-ram’s existence. He no longer recognizes anyone. However, it seems as though Ah-ram is the only one who can get a response from Do-hun. When Ah-ram asks to bring her dad to kindergarten, Soo-jin hesitates.
Soo-jin sees that Do-hun reacts to Ah-ram and decides to go to the Daddy’s Day event at Ah-ram’s kindergarten. With Kyung-hun’s help, Do-hun’s Lumi Chocolate is finally launched and Soo-jin decides to donate all of the proceeds to a non-profit corporation she founded. Everyone gets together to celebrate this success.
